One thought that’s always been on my mind is what happens after we’re done here—after this life. Growing up in a religious Muslim family in India, heaven and hell were more than just concepts—they were realities we were taught to believe in since day one. She’s seen me grow from a curious kid, who questioned everything, into someone who’s still questioning but with a lot more on the line.
